Domain Renewal
All domains are set to renew automatically. You only need to speak to us if you wish to cancel a domain and can’t do this yourself. US domains such as .com and .org are different from UK domains and so you might receive a notice. This is normal and can be ignored unless you wish to change something.

Should I choose a Linux or Windows hosting package?
Most websites are hosting using a UNIX/LINUX platform. We also offer Windows servers. If you want to use WordPress then select one of the WordPress packages. If you have any doubt, contact us and we will point you in the right direction.

How do I get a free or paid SSL
Free SSL is included with most packages, simply find the section and click the button to install. Some packages come with the certificate already installed. For a paid SSL, you can select this from the shop once signed into your account. You can also use SSL from other providers.

How do I migrate an existing site to you?
We have a safe process in place which allows a site to be copied. This can include email accounts with their history. Once done and you have confirmed you have everything you need, transferring the domain or changing the A records will set the site live. Don’t forget to cancel your old plan.

Will I be locked in if I transfer or buy from you?
Nope. Our hosting packages are fully open to our clients and so you can leave whenever you want. We find that having no lock-in shows we have nothing to hide and our clients stay with us. Of course we don’t want to say goodbye to any client but if you want to see if the grass is greener elsewhere, we won’t stop you. There is only one rule – you must tell us so that we can stop billing you!

What Packages do you offer?
We have packages suited to small websites which do not require a database, these are either the Starter package or Business package. Next is for sites with a database. These are for sites such as Joomla, WordPress, Magento etc. For WordPress we have a special range of servers which have been configured to work with WordPress. For this, if you intend to manage your own WordPress site you should select the WordPress Self-Build package. Lastly, we have a series of Windows Servers to all you to run your Microsoft ASPX sites. If we are building your site, we will select the most appropriate for your needs. All packages can be migrated and so if your needs change, we can move your site.
